Features:
Easy to Use Quick Release Safety Straps
The newly added Oxlite Safety Straps are designed to secure the ramp down,
while loading and unloading. The straps have been lengthened between the
rubber coated hook and quick release buckle to better accomodate
taller tailgates found on newer pickup models.
Rubber Coated Ramp Fingers
Many Oxlite ramps utilize multiple rubber coated aluminum fingers. Oxlite ramp
products use more fingers than most ramp brands to gain more points of contact
with the truck gate or trailer, ensuring a more secure and stable base, while loading
and unloading. The rubber tips add grip to the ramp end and also provide
protection from scratching painted surfaces.
Plates
Plates are used on many Oxlite ramps in place of the rubber coated fingers. On
ramps with load capacities of 3,000, 5,000, 7,000 and 10,000 pounds a heavy duty
plate is used to ensure strength at the point of contact with a trailer.
On mesh ramps, used primarily for small wheeled equipment or to walk
up theramp, a plate is used at the top of the ramp and on the bottom
on some. This is to allow for a smoother transition on and off of the ramp.
Serrated Crossbars
The profile of the serrated crossbars used on many Oxlite products allows for
better traction than many other ramp brands.
Mesh
Mesh is used to give the best traction when someone walks up the ramp and
for small wheeled equipment which may fall between the cross bars of other ramps.
On mesh ramps, a plate is used instead of rubber fingers at the top of the ramp
and on the bottom on some. This is to allow for a smoother transition on and
off of the ramp.
