HT-Series

The HT-Series (Hinged Technology Series) represents Oxlite’s new premium line of aluminum loading ramps. The HT-Series patented interlocking hinge mechanism (6,389,629) disassembles the ramp into two separate pieces, making storage in a secure place unimaginably easy, ensuring the ramp will be there when you’re ready to load. Oxlite’s HT-Series is the most versatile ramp series on the market . It includes Arched Dual and Single Runners, and a complete Motorcycle Ramp System. The HT-Series provides the user with options of weight capacities ranging from 500 lbs up to 1,500 lbs, widths of 11” up to 36” and lengths of 78” up to 94.”

Features:

Patented Hinge Mechanism -- Patent No. 6,389,629
The essence of the HT Series is found in the patented interlocking
hinge. Unique to the ramp industry, the HT Hinge allows for a light-weight,
durable product, which provides ease of storage and gained security to the
user’s investment. The advanced hinge design by far exceeds the limitations
of the average ramp.

Patented Slotted Tubing -- Patent No. 5,938,397
The patented slotted tubing used on a number of Oxlite ramps was
designed to protect the user as well as the ramps themselves.

By protecting the ends of the serrated rods or expanded metal,
the user does not need to be concerned with snagging their hands or
clothes on the rough edges left in the manufacturing process. The slots
on the tube also protects the rod or expanded metal from snagging on
wires or cables exposed on the vehicle when loading and unloading on
the ramps.

An added plus is that slotted tubing adds strength to the ramp,
while minimally increasing the overall weight.
Easy to Use Quick Release Safety Straps
The newly added Oxlite Safety Straps are designed to secure the
ramp down, while loading and unloading. The straps have been
lengthened between the rubber coated hook and quick release
buckle to better accomodate taller tailgates found on newer pickup models.

Rubber Coated Ramp Fingers
Many Oxlite ramps utilize multiple rubber coated aluminum fingers.
Oxlite ramp products use more fingers than most ramp brands to gain
more points of contact with the truck gate or trailer, ensuring a more
secure and stable base, while loading and unloading. The rubber tips add
grip
to the ramp end and also provide protection from scratching painted surfaces.

Plates
Plates are used on many Oxlite ramps in place of the rubber coated fingers. On
ramps with load capacities of 3,000, 5,000, 7,000 and 10,000 pounds a heavy duty
plate is used to ensure strength at the point of contact with a trailer.

On mesh ramps, used primarily for small wheeled equipment or to walk
up the ramp, a plate is used at the top of the ramp and on the bottom
on some. This is to allow for a smoother transition on and off of the ramp.

Serrated Crossbars
The profile of the serrated crossbars used on many Oxlite products allows for
better traction than many other ramp brands.

Mesh
Mesh is used to give the best traction when someone walks up the ramp and
for small wheeled equipment which may fall between the cross bars of other ramps.

On mesh ramps, a plate is used instead of rubber fingers at the top of the ramp
and on the bottom on some. This is to allow for a smoother transition on and
off of the ramp.

5 Year Defect Guarantee
The 5 Year Defect Guarantee is valid against defects in material or workmanship
for a period of five years from the date of purchase.
